Ryker was unconscious, having been shot multiple times by Angel rounds that shredded his armor. This suit was totaled, he'd need another one. It sparked, pieces fell off every now and then and the joints would lock ever so often.
"G...Garret..."
He says, while still unconscious.

[u]"We're gonna have to cut that suit open."[/u] They rush him into an emergency room.

They wouldn't have to worry as soon as they set him on the table it falls apart, crashing down on the floor.

[u]"Well then, takes care of that."[/u] The medics immediately begin operating on him, treating his wounds.

Slowly but surely they fix him up, patching all his wounds. After the procedure was done... He awoke on the table as they put the last stitches in.

After he awoke, there were only two people in the room. The medic, and his wife.

"Ellie!" He says, trying to sit up but crying out in pain, laying back down.

[u]"Don't try to stand. Your wounds are still fresh."[/u] Eleanor stands up from her chair, walking to his bed. She kneels next to him, a smile on her face. "Fancy meeting you here."

He laughs. "At least I know you're safe." He says with a calm smile.

"Safe? Please, Ryker, I'm the one who should worry about your safety! You haven't been assaulted by cameras in the last hours! Aren't you dying?!" She says, joking. She laughs.

He laughs. "Well... I'm a wanted man by everyone I guess..." He sighs, growing serious. "A man named Garret did this to me. He's powerful... He has somehow obtained the weapon blueprints for Angel, and even turned it into a fully automatic weapon... You can see what it did."

"Well then. We have weapons that can match it. He is just one man, after all. If he assaults this place, there is no chance in hell he survives. This place is pretty much the safest on this ship."

"True... I guess I can rest easy for now." He says with a smile.

"Indeed. So we have time to work up a strategy."

"So what have you been doing...?" He says. "Also how long have you been here?"

"I've been here for about three weeks. I've been focusing on trying to save as many people as I can."

"Alright... We need to find out why people are coming here... And we need to stop it." He says firmly.

"Agreed. I haven't made much progress, but it seems the Summoner might be behind this. Remember him?"

"Of course... How could I forget." He says with a laugh.

"Indeed. He's here, and he's having a little family reunion by the looks of it. Noiratrom, Sarris-Sanguine, Roboute Guilliman... we have some big players on board."

Ryker grunts. "Something big is happening."

"Indeed. And I think we'll be forced to play a role in it, wether we want it or not."

He nods. "Agreed... So what's the next move."

"Well, you may not like the sound of it, but we sit and wait. That's all we can do. Luckily for us, the imperials and heretics have, for the most part, agreed to a cease-fire. Some of them, though, don't respect it and keep attacking us. But we're well defended enough to ward off any major offensive."

He nodded. "Sounds good.."

"Yep. What happened to you?"
