Happy Memorial Day (no it's not the same as Veterans Day) I hope your day off is great and you all have fun but just remember that someone gave their life so you could do that, so please if you go out somewhere today stop by a national cemetery and take just five minutes to honor the soldiers who died in both the call of duty and after making it back home, Thanks ^~*
This is mostly for Americans but if you aren't from America you can still do it
I also encourage you to share a family member who was buried in a national cometary
I'll go first: http://imgur.com/wBmxtAL

I can't say that it is a happy day. Especially not for those who lost a loved one or a brother/sister in arms. For me, it is a somber holiday, much like the anniversary of a loved one's death. However, I am neither angry, upset nor somehow triggered at the OP's use of the word "happy". It's just that I can't say that word today myself. I understand that it's typical to use the term "Happy ____ day" when observing a holiday. And though many are having BBQ's, enjoying the day off, it is important to remember that the day is to commemorate and remember those who did not come home and can't participate in those things that the rest of us are enjoying.
