Edited by WBlack6: 5/31/2016 3:55:48 PMThere do need to be custom matches, but I think that implementing the whole enabling weapons system would make it a lot harder for Bungie to code it, and it's kind of unnecessary. You're gonna be playing with friends, right? Just tell everybody what weapons are allowed. Me and my clan will always either match up in classic 3v3, or classic free-for-all, and whoever has the highest KD determines the load out everybody has to use. Nobody breaks the rules. And be sure you can change the match parameters without having to go to the tower. Other than that, good video.

Im gonna paraphrase what i remember a bungie employee saying during a live stream once (i dont remember where it is from exactly or word for word) -"If only we could make something in the game that someone made with Photoshop, the game would be so much better" The gist of the quote is that it is infinitely harder to code something in the game than it is to Photoshop a video.

7 RepliesEdited by Coinup: 5/31/2016 2:34:35 PMWith custom modes for PVP all statistics would lose meaning. People loves statistics and score cards to have a reliable measuring method to decide who's good and bad. So I guess that's why destiny will stay with standard modes.
