I think Xur should sell exotic shards again.
Okay, so far my destiny exp in the April update has been great; i got the zen meteor when the update dropped and got more and more exotics through 3oC but for the the past few weeks I've been running low on shards and i can't dismantle the exotics i have because i still use them unless i get one the 3oC and it's a lower light then i get a shard but it gets immediately used. So, in my opinion i think xur selling the exotic shards is a good plus why the hell do we need to buy motes of light from him in the first place if we could easily level up and get 5 of them.

But as others have stated, the best way to get some shards quickly is the exotic weapon kiosk. Buy any heavy (costs 1 shard + 2.5k glimmer) buy a heavy weapon telemetry from banshee and activate it, equip the heavy you just bought and level it up with motes (takes 6 with the telemetry I believe). Then break it down for 2 exotic shards and a net of +1.
