I didn't know him for long. I I only have a few memories of him, but I probably would have more if he hadn't gotten skin cancer.

yea. My grandfather died before I was born, Would have MANY more memories of him had he not smoked

Yeah. My grandfather sailed for most of his life, but he sailed before they made effective sunscreen, so he had skin cancer over most of his body. I guess I sail because it makes me think of him.
