It would be amazing for it to happen and many streamers/regulars to Destiny have been asking for it. However coding isn't as easy as many imagine. I'm sure they are looking into it, have worked towards it, or at least debated the topic. I would bet that in Destiny 2 they will have it unless stated otherwise, it is the biggest wish from the community and will increase play time.
