Hey Cozmo Canyon!
Useless emotes wasting space on the dpad. This fuction could be used in a much more player friendly manner. Hot-key synth and have a cooldown timer in the HUD so you know exactly when you can take another.
Ships are useless. All it is a loading screen from one place to another. Have them be intregrated into gameplay. Let them drop ammo crates, fly to a specific point on the map, tow equipment, gear, or call airstrikes, space battles the list goes on and on with possibilities. Just make the ships relevent.
The locations that were supposed to be there would be nice to actually go there. European Dead Zone, Mercury, Europa, the rest of the already existing worlds would be great.
Proper power scaling, I can't even damage an enemy four light above me, yet a level 2 dreg can kill a level 40 guardian? C'mon man wtf! I should be able to take on any enemy in the game no matter the power difference. How large or small that difference is determines how long or difficult the fight will be. Speaking of power difference...
If light matters then remove levels. If 335 is what is relevent then why does level 40 matter? Level 40 is pointless until you break 300 light. So why even have it at all? Just throwing that out there.
No more rng, it's garbage. I liked yr1 because we had exotic quests. Yes we have some in year 2 but why isn't the yr1 quests not carried up to y2? My point is, perform task A and earn prize B. Have it displayed in the app like the vendors are. For example, this weeks nightfall will earn prizes x, y, and z. Have it cycle out every week like xur, correction not like xur. Have it on a set schedule for the exotics that do not have a quest. This makes the rotation of the exotics without a specific quest or task much quicker. So if you miss one it will come around again depending on the schedule. Apply this accross the board. So we know exactly what we will earn every week from raids, nf's hell the entire weekly reset. You know what put xur and all the venders on that schedule too. No more rng, now we know exactly what we need to do to earn what we want. What a specific raid drop, just check the schedule and play it the week it's in rotation. Guaranteed drops would make any activity worth it, why? If you don't want it, don't do it. If you do, then do it. Simple as that.
Raids, make them all relevent and no more shards ever of any kind. Normal mode at each cp earns armor and class drops and we know what they are thanks to the rotation schedule. Hard mode earns weapons. Any extra runs on normal earn you miscellaneous items like sparrows, shaders, and ships (or a crux) again on a known rotation.
As for the light rng, get rid of that too. Have all the vendors scale the gear every 5 light to yours. So once you hit 335 everything is 335, drops, venders, engrams you name it.
Weapon forging, bring it back. Oh no it broke the game blah, blah, blah. Did it? Did it really? Look I may not have the greatest k/d in the world and an negative elo. But I admit that when I get out played by someone I need to step my game up and don't b**** about it. Git gud or git out. The old saying goes, you win some, and you lose some. Get over it.
Armor forging, just imagine the possibilities. Perks choices, stat changes. Not this random crap glass needles does. I mean dedicated changes, if I want to rebuild my helmet to only have intellect then I should be able to choose that. If I want a particular perk in it's tree I should be able to do that. Again if you think it breaks the game then you just can't figure out a good build, or a better tactic. Simple as that keep getting your ass kicked until you can kick ass. Speaking of...
Since SBMM isn't going to go away (at least that is what everyone is complaining about). Then match people within a tolorance of their k/d. Like .2 (let's just pick .2 for an example) above or below the group or team average. (Group for individual games like rumble and team average for friends playing together like control). Then have k/d's displayed when mm'ing is taking place. So you know what you are getting into. So when players jump in or out trying to find and easier game it's not going to happen based on the .2 average algorithm. Oh and have it based on that particular game. A seperate k/d for each pvp game type. Just because someone is good at control doesn't mean they will be good at rumble. Even seperate IB game type k/d's from crucible game type k/d's.
Since Bungie won't (or should I say can't figure out how to) seperate pve and pvp in the sandbox. I want my supers to be super. Again see the alot on the forums a 335 major dies from a 335 super period. Not staggered, not hurt, not critical, dies. An ultra I understand but a run in the mill major? C'mon man. No one should have to use every hammer, lightning bolt, or bullet just to half health a major. For this reason more often then not I don't even use my super in pve, my weapons hit harder then it does. So why use it if I know it's going to survive?
Finally is a damn coherent story too much to ask for? Cutscenes, dialogue, game changing decisions, the things that make an rpg and rpg. I mean is Destiny an fps-rpg or not? It just feels like an fps to me.

Hmm, as intresting as that would be. Let's just think about that for a second. On one hand we can smash Oryx in the face with our ships. Knowingly that our ghosts will be able to revive us np. On the other hand having to answer to Amanda Holliday for smashing Oryx in the face with our ships when we get back to the tower... F*** that! I'll take my chances with Oryx and his big black balls!
