This is a bit off topic, but are the Xbox plus ( I think it's called gold) free games monthly?

With an Xbox gold membership you get 4 free games a month. Two are Xbox one games, and the other two are backwards compatible 360 releases. They come in two waves, the first two games are released on the 1st (1 Xbox One game and 1 360 game), and then the next two come out on the 15th (again, 1 Xbox 1 game and one 360 game)
