She vanishes as soon as you see her, only to feel her feet impact your back with the speed of an airplane* [spoiler]The GOO, or Great Old Ones, are essentially the Lovecraftian Mythos creatures. They consume all life in their path and can easily consume whole worlds in a matter of days. Drow were the elite fighting force of the Elves, magically engineered to be able to ignore the fear aura and the corrupting presence of the GOOs. They held the off the GOO invasion of Earth for a few hundred thousand years before allies from Earth's brother planet were send to help. Earth's brother planet was soon lost to the GOO after the help was sent, some of their Warriors were corrupted and were used as agents of the GOO to destabilize the various races before the GOO invasion. It was consumed in a matter of years. Great magics were worked by the few remaining survivors of the dominant race, the Hawkpeople(Imagine 9-ft tall angels that can destroy entire continents with their sheer strength), and the entire planet was destroyed, along with the GOOs on it, leaving Earth safe.[/spoiler]
