If you don't know what "make it rain" is, simply put, it's where 4-5 defenders spam their Wards in one point of all the strategies I've seen for Titans to use, this is the most pathetic. So you can imagine my glee when I encountered such strategy, on my Titan, more specifically, my Striker. One of the FEW counters to this sorry-arse maneuver. So yeah, if you're using that strategy, I do hope you get a Fist to the face for disgracing your fellow Titans. :)

I love throwing a suppressor grenade in my bubble as the smash is coming in. It explodes and a stunned fist of panic Titan then gets a shotty to the face. I dance and a rage quit ensues! It is one of the best moments you could ever hope for

Suppressor grenades

I'm a Warlock and I agree with this post. Us Warlocls cannot scratch the Ward of Dawn. All we can do is hope for a diversion so we can burn the Titan or Nova Bomb him. Please do Fist of Havoc these dirty Defenders.
-
Smart defenders know how to dodge FoH.
-
I'll gladly nova bomb them back to the void of which they came
-
I've only heard it call the "bubble train"... But yeah its annoying...
-
Ever tried it in rift? So much fun.
-
Me and a group of friends used to do this for fun. 4 defender titans: 2 armor, 1 weapon, 1 blessings 1 striker titan: for when people got close And 1 void Walker, just to troll All while using Necro. It was extremely fun, even the other teams would message how fun it was Haha.

I love it when people moan about people playing the game, but then find ways around it! So what if people use something you're able to do in the game. You found a way around it so good on you.

Edited by TrulyDontCare: 6/9/2016 12:40:16 AMI tried a new strategy on a team in a bubble and it worked better than I even expected. I saw four opponents in one over a zone. To draw them out, I blew a kiss at them from about 30 meters away. The Defender immediately came charging after me with a shotgun. I ran behind a corner and hit him with my fusion rifle when he appeared. I killed one more, then a teammate showed up and we killed the other two (they seemed confused when their bubble vanished). It was beautiful.

Its called a "Bubble Train" and was originally done with 4 Defender Titans with Orb builds wearing the Crest of Alpha Lupi and 2 Hunters running Golden Gun. Multiple bubbles (each Titan could drop around 3 at a time) were spread out to cover a large surface area so even when enemies came in with a revenge super it only effected a minimal portion of the area. When done efficiently it cannot be stopped.

Hammer of sol+ suncharge would be fun on a bubble train
-
He mad

Honestly, it's easy to counter. Blueberries screw it up though. Patience, distraction, and flanking. The bubble swap method (switching to the other bubble created) was a decent one people used. But too many times people get cocky and try to pop out for a kill or taunt. Nowadays, that strat usually doesn't last long and is abandoned quickly.
-
Just watch the make it rain suppression nades nightstalker combo lol striker gets tethered before or during or Suppression naded
-
That isn't the make it rain strat, the make it rain strat it max grenade recharge radiance
-
They were stupid for not jumping out went you smashed. The bubble contains the super if you use it instead so as long as you jump straight up you're safe.
-
Not if your a decent defender. Fist of havoc is easy to see coming and all I have to do is take 2 steps backwards outside the bubble.
-
Why would you call this the make it rain strategy?
-
Or Nova bomb I remember my friend tried to GG them I was like you gonna have to deeper than that
-
Actually, there's another counter that's even better. It's called The Dark Drinker

I actually prefer the suicide run nova bomb right into the middle of it.
-
I've ran into teams like a that a few times. It was a free quad.
-
I've heard about this but I have never once run into a bubble titan team in the crucible EVER, and I've put hundreds of hours into the crucible.
-
Pre april up date if you ran blessing and armour you wouldnt die to a fist of panic
