1. Making Destiny year 1 a cross generation game makes perfect sense from a business point of view, and since year 2 is nothing but DLC it makes sense to keep all that cross generation too.
2. Wait! You are telling me a game look sbetter on more powerful hardware? That is shocking. Somebody call Fox News.
3. The game will play exactly the same. Other than frame rate/latency the extra power of current gen will not change the game-play at all.

Actually you are completely wrong. I upgraded from PS3 to Ps4 this year and couldn't believe how much better Destiny looks in current gen. HUGE difference. It's only going to get better now. Smart move by Bungie Also recent polls indicate only about 20% of the player base is on old gen, not worth their employee resources to continue. Just think how much better this game is going to be in 2017 now that they can dedicate full resources to making a game that can look as good and play as crisp as say Overwatch.. On the bright side, you really only need to save $25 a week from now till Sept 20 to upgrade. That can be done by mowing a neighbor's lawn or babysitting 1 night per week. It is worth the money trust me. I can't imagine going back to last gen now.. It would be like playing on an Atari 2600 once you make the switch. You can do it guardian! I believe in you!!

"Like overwatch " thing here is that overwatch is actually fun to play, frame rate wont make Destiny as fun as overwatch, i already dropped Destiny, im not gonna buy a ps4 and if i do i wont donwload all the shit again.

Confused! What am I wrong about? All you are talking about is graphics, which I stated are the only things that mostly get effected across generations. People shouldn't have to upgrade till Destiny 2. That is the point, and one nobody on here seems to be able to counter with any logic or reason. P.S. I am already a current gen owner, have been for years now.

You're wrong about calling Fox News!
