I voted no for 1 reason.
This is still the same game. So if they stop it mid life would be bs if they still support the same game on a different console.
The moment a new "disk" game comes out, so Destiny 2, thats when Destiny 1 is over. So untill then they should support the old-gens.
Its not there fault that Bungie is running 3 years with the same game disk.

Very fair point but last gen just cant physically keep up with the DLC.

I don't really like that last gen is being dropped with this expansion, but old gen has already been losing things from destiny with each update. To my knowledge, the menu is laggy as hell The vault isnt as big and a host of all kinds of problems still exist. Destiny came out during the old to new transistion and if anything they were saying "Look at Destiny, look at all the crap we can do. It'll be even better if you were on new gen" Essentially, Destiny on last gen was a hook with some sweet bait. If you want the best of it, you'll have to upgrade. Does it suck, yes. But Destiny will always be very limited with what it can do if it remains on old gen since they have to cut down and remove features to keep it running on 360/ps3

The way I understood it, Destiny 2 would just be a continuation of Destiny 1, it won't be a completely separate game

Well considering last gen has been out for 10-11 years now, everyone should have been expecting it. And you could almost call the comet expansions new games as they do bring a lot to the game. There's really nothing morally incorrect that Bungie is doing, in fact they are losing money from this.

GTA just had a new update that isn't supported on PS3 and Xbox 360, lots of games are dropping the old stuff now
