You do realize this is a fictional game right? Besides, I can understand skates but boards can still be possible by attaching them to the sides or the back of the boards.

Nope. The reactor is inside the whole body of a Sparrow. Look, all lore and reason set aside (read that again), space roller blades and a floating skate board don't fit the atmosphere of the game whatsoever.

It's like adding the swords to gameplay so they can do the same with others if they wanted.

"Oh look. We found a new energy source that can be made into super small and efficient reactors. Let's make roller skates!" Not only is it a waste of time on bungies part, but (again) it doesn't fit the atmosphere of the game.

If a hover bike can make it, why not a hover board? It's a futuristic, space adventure. We have warp drives, stealth cloaks, manipulation of void energy, and time traveling machines. Hover bikes...ok. Hover boards...not possible? Second, It's Bungie's decision as to what they can do or not. They offered opinions to be told here and I am sharing mine.

You obviously don't understand atmosphere if you think that hoverboards would fit. All those things you named follow the atmosphere and feel of the game in some way or another. Hover boards and roller skates? Not so much.

Other people have different opinions about it and wants something else other than hover bikes. PS, keep in mind if they ever manage to put new vehicles in the game...I will look for you, I will find you, and I will say I told you.

I never said I didn't want other vehicles and I never said it wasn't Bungie's choice. I am making a confident prediction that they will never add any hover board or roller skate to replace the sparrow.

The thing is sparrows, even new looking ones, are just re-skins and nothing is special about them, besides the introduction to the Tumbler. Instead of re-skins, there should be new vehicles. Even if they don't happen, I would be happy if they even considered new vehicles to ride around on other than sparrows.

Hover board/skates just identifies what it'll look like. Even if they make a new vehicle and give it a different name, it will still look like a hover bike and I'm just saying to add something else...like a new class of vehicles. Trust me, they can allow it since they allowed Guardians to do STUNTS on a hover bike and tricks like that is not far off from being on a board.

They won't do it. They may add other types of vehicles but definitely not hover boards or roller blades.
