The pre-order doesn't do anything besides change the color the the weapon you get as part of the quest. Normal orders get the traditional Ghorn with gold trim, and pre-orders get a blacked out version. Now explain to me how a black weapon is going to help you win over a gold one... GO!!! Oh, that's right... it doesn't help you at all.
