If Bungie had made Destiny for only current Gen consoles back in 2013 there would be no issue now but they didn't. They made Destiny for last gen and released DLC for them as well. Bungie should have continued support for last gen right up until Destiny 1 ended in it's entirety because what they have done now is tell last gen players "You want to continue the story? Buy our game all over again and drop £300+ on a new console whilst you're at it." If Bungie intended to drop support for last gen during Destiny 1's life cycle they should have given fair warning to players before they purchased Destiny. They didn't because they wanted to squeeze as much money out of players as possible.
