While I'll do PvP from time to time, I have only completed just one of the subclass quest that 'forces' you to do the Crucible just to get an emblem.
Besides I think we have more than enough emblems to keep things mixed up and different.

It sucks that Bungie would make everyone play the unbalanced joke that is crucible to get the MoT emblem. I went flawless year 1 to get that exotic emblem and hated crucible ever since. Its an embarrassment to Bungies previous skill systems that were in Halo 2/3, and no one should ever be forced to play it.
