I hope not. I am a PvE player and that crucible quest is absurdly long. I don't mind doing it but I don't know if I have enough time.

I've only done it on one character but I remember a while ago they made it easier by changing some of the steps so I'm sure it won't be too bad now.

Once you unlock on one you unlocked on the others.

Oh yeah. So that's not so bad at all.

The crucible quest line is not as hard as it sounds. I've managed it on all 3 players and I'm poor in PvP. Give it a go and you'll be surprised how straight forward it is.
