How does one "equip a fully leveled year 2 subclass"? Or more specifically, how does one fully level a subclass without it already being equipped.
Isn't it more just like "fully level a year 2 sub-class"?

You miss my point entirely. There is no way to level it up UNLESS it is equipped in the first place. Already equipped.

I think they sell a consumable that will fully level a subclass. So technically you might be able to level one without equipping it. That may be why its worded the way it is.

Maybe, but I don't think you can apply a consumable to a character you aren't currently using.

Either or. I think for any gain to go to a subclass, it has to be the currently selected one.
