Lord Shaxx has a questline that involves all of the crucible. Takes a while, and you get [armory]The Hothead[/armory] for you trouble. This quest also enables Weekly Crucible Bounties on all characters.

It gives you a shitty rocket launcher at light of 200 but does open up the weekly bounties thing.
