It wasn't that challenging considering the majority of the community had it done upon release or needed a couple gold chest.
Year 1
-Reach the max level of 34
-Defeat the dark heart of the Black Garden
-Prevent the summoning of Crota’s Soul
-Capture Skolas in the Vex Citadel
-Defeat the Prison of Elders on Hard
-Defeat the Atheon on Hard
-Defeat Crota on Hard
-Complete 50 public events
-Win 100 Crucible Matches
-Find all Golden Chests
Year 2
- Complete an Elder's Sigil scorecard in the Prison of Elders.
- Complete Taken King questline, culminating in "Regicide" story mission.
- Equip a fully leveled year two subclass on any character.
- Complete the Crucible questline culminating in "The Mountaintop"
- Collect all 50 Calcified Fragments.
- Complete any of the exotic sword questlines from Shaxx.
- Complete the April Update quests "At the Gates" and "Return to the Prison."
- Defeat Oryx in the King's Fall Raid on Hard difficulty.
I personally know a bunch who won't be getting this just because of the Mountaintop and beating Oryx on hard and fragments. (provided this is the real list)
I feel Year 2 is harder considering the pvp quest was glitched for a while, Not many have actually beat Oryx on normal and that means they have 1-3 missing fragments for challenge raid.
I don't see how Y2 MoT are empty compared to year one? Honestly it's the same thing minus the tedious task of grinding Publics and PvP. Just more quest related as it should be.
I mean you are entitled to your opinion I just personally think the Y1 MoT's were a breeze next to these. My PS account only need a mars chest for Year 1 and I've completed everything for Year 2 already working on my Xbox MoT now.
