Hah. I did all three.....and hated it.
Honestly, you should (at the very least) get the Raze Lighter (Solar). Very helpful and the best out of all the swords. Arc one is kinda stupid and the Void one is meh.
Crucible part about the quest sucks but the material farming...by far the worst. The material farming took about 1.5-2 hours for each sword.

void is amazing to use! I find it the best out of all the swords because it can deal with such a tight situation with ease. just got to be good with a sword and use it more for than just damaging a boss.

I don't know what you're talking about, Boltcaster is fun as hell in Crucible. It's not the best choice for a heavy weapon, but it's damn fun.

PVP, yes. PvE, not so much. I PvE most of the time.

Yeah the crucible part was easy. But I don't play as much as I used to and don't have that much time to farm lol
