Edited by Astartes Marine: 6/17/2016 3:42:29 PMIt's not the most powerful Sci fi universe out there. Don't ever include Warhammer 40k in any kind of "this vs that" argument, 40k is in its own league entirely. Star Wars is likewise beyond Destiny's scope with multiple galaxy spanning military forces in its lore with arsenals that make our bullets seem like little more than children's toys. Add to that each capital sized warship from Star Wars is more than capable of burning the surface of an entire planet away with repeated volleys of turbo laser fire. The Empire even has an order code for that: Base Delta Zero. Star Trek is not very militaristic overall, but they have a mastery over faster than light travel, deflector shields, matter/antimatter power generation, matter replication, and antimatter weaponry that Destiny could only dream of. Halo...well the UNSC at its peak has plenty of hard hitting ordnance like the MAC, Spartans, a wide assortment of vehicles usually heavily armed. The Covenant is made up of several species' religious fanatics that in general have little fear of death, have an abundance of very damaging plasma weaponry including swords and energy shields. Also notorious for glassing entire worlds. I'm calling a very big meh for the Mass Effect universe. Lots of decent tech but very boring tech. Not familiar enough with the others.
