The two throw a glance at each other and follow in silence.
-
The eventually reach a little hole in one of the walls, and it leads into a large room. The room has several weapons, beds, packs of food, and assorted gadgets. He walks to the middle of the room, and turns to Lucien and Lea. "Welcome to my abode."
-
"Cozy..." Lea muses as Lucien walks in a plops down on the floor. "I like it... Then again, I can sleep anytime, anywhere."
-
"Take whatever you please. Doesn't matter to me." He walks a little to the far end of the room, and trips, falling right on top of a pile of swords. He gets back up, but has three swords sticking out of his chest, and has an arm missing. Black liquid pours from the cut limb. "Well... I seem to have been... Disarmed!" He unsheathes a glowing green sword, and impales himself. His arm grows back, armor and all. He sheathes the sword, then pulls the other swords out of his chest, and the wounds heal, again with armor.
-
Lucien watches intently, while Lea doesn't, seemingly uncaring. Though, it seemed like Lucien was waning off, so there wasn't a good chance he was paying attention... His head eventually lowers and his breathing slows. Lea lets out a sigh and rolls her eyes. The big man was lazy as hell... "And then there were two."
-
"Well, I actually am not able to sleep, so, unless you'd like to talk, it's gonna be boring for us both."
-
"Yeah... No. I'll let Lucien sleep, I'm gonna continue exploring." She says, pushing back her hair. She wasn't incredibly big, and she wasn't exactly wearing much armor... Or anything at all... But she seemed confident enough, especially without Lucien. There was more to her than surface level.
-
"Till I know what you're capable of, I can't let you leave alone."
-
"Fine, then follow." She turns and makes her way back outside, not waiting for the tall being.
-
He follows her, wiping some of his own blood off of his chest.
-
"Can you fly...?" She asks as she pads down the road, her body moving with grace and lithe beauty, the perfect silhouette, unnatural even...
-
"Not exactly fly, but I can move through air."
-
"Eh. Whatever." Suddenly, two massive black wings explode from her back and shoots off into the air, landing on a tall, derelict building not too far away.
-
Blink simply just seems to appear up there. "Looking for anything specific?"
-
"A way off." She says simply, the wings folding back into her body.
-
"There isn't one."
-
"Okay, Mr. Pessimism. I'm sure Lucien needs some help getting up. And I never asked for your 'protection'. If anything I should be following you until I know what your capable of." She responds dryly, seemingly frustrated with the stranger. She wasn't one for company...
-
"I'm not being pessimistic. There is actually no way off. And also, while I've been here, I've killed countless Deamons just to live. Deamons are not pushovers."
-
"Yeah. I am one... Partly." She says, shaking her head in disgust at him.
-
"They will try to murder you. They don't care. Unless you have unwavering loyalty to a chaos god, they will kill you without a second thought."
-
"Oh well. You only live once." She says, hopping to the next building with ease. She wasn't going to wait around and talk. She was moving on from here... Probably not to come back.
-
"What do you intend to find out here?" He appears next to her again.
-
"Nothing." Se says, throwing him an annoyed glance.
-
"You don't go out somewhere just to go somewhere. What do know about this place? Nothing. You need someone or something to help you out here. Also, what about Malform back there? You just gonna leave him?"
-
"No, I don't need help. And yes, I'm gonna leave him." She says, leaping to another building.
