You get the rest. Just tell me and the rest of the Destiny community something from when you first started playing the game. It could be awesome, terrible, funny, sad, whatever it was don't be shy. Tell us your story proudly Guardian.

When I was a Kinderguardian, I knew literally nothing about this game. Bought the PS4/Destiny bundle and plugged it in. I knew Bungie created Halo, which I loved, and figured this should be pretty decent too! I was not disappointed. Before I knew it, I was whirled away into this game and haven't regretted it since. Just about everything they have done in/with this game has blown me away. Took me months before I learned about Xur and all these strange coins I'd accumulated. Even more time before I started to pay attention to weapons, armor and perks. Sure the lack of story was a little strange but when you actually look around in the game (especially with no HUD), you can't help but be in awe. The loot cave, Void burn Phogoth, Arc burn Sepiks, Solar burn Archon. My first kill with Thunderlord, my first VoG completion....the list of great memories goes on... This game will continue to blow me away and I'm excited to go further on this journey that is Destiny. Look forward to everything it has to offer in the future.

I was doing the very first mission where you join the open world (where you have to get the drive for your ship) and I'm dicking around trying to figure things out when the screen shakes and Dinklebot is like "hey, check this shit out". So I'm watching this max leveled guy take out the extraction crews and my level 2 self bounces over and shoots ONE dreg and that ends the event. I pissed this guardian off so bad that he was chasing me and shooting at me and my young naive self was petrified thinking this other guardian could actually kill me.

I remember getting into Vault of Glass, trying to figure out how to open it while fighting praetorians and whatnot... alone. Lol

I was playing destiny for the first time finished the mission and saw a subway I was super foolhardy back then so I charged in head first I'm walking around for a few minutes when all of the sudden I randomly exploded Scared me so bad I dropped the controller

I was tarified to do my 1st nightfall. I use my newfound icebreaker the entire time.

Trying to complete the thorn bounty was dayum near impossible......

During the alpha, it took me and a fellow guardian more than forty-minutes, to kill the Devil Walker, on the Sepiks Prime strike. Laugh all you like, but he was super tough.

I ran all over the Cosmodrome leveling up BEFORE I had started the story. I used Bounties and patrols. I believed that if I were level 40 it would help me against the bosses. Oh how wrong I was. Which is why I dont care about max light. The enemy gets stronger too.

Saw a lvl 30 in stater area of Cosmodrome, stealing all my kills. I was confused. Followed him down into the subway and insta died. I was even more confused. This game can be confusing for noobs.

2 RepliesWondering why a truth's rockets curved. Wondering what the heck a blight was. Asking what plate to get on. Wasting an entire mag of primary and not hitting anything. Wondering why they wouldn't die after getting sniped in the chest.

1 ReplyI used to look for my own orbs, and I used to delete every god role gun :/ looking back on those days. I miss them. I pray that year 1 magic returns in year 3. exotics shouldn't be obtained by engrams. they should be grinded for, and very powerful when used. I shouldn't prefer a legendary weapon/armor over it.

6 RepliesDidn't know who in hell xur was, had 300+ strange coins when he I found him randomly, was selling legacy and exotic primaries, bought like 30 of a combination of both, got a crap ton of exotics, thorn, juju, etc, chucked thorn immediately because I hated hand cannons. Never touched thorn until Crimson doubles came out, won 70 games that week using thorn for the first time.

I thought the sparrow was a warping device. I didn't use it for weeks as I didn't see the point of missing whole areas of the cosmodrome.

5 RepliesEdited by Phaaze: 6/19/2016 1:19:06 PMIf you saw thorn in crucible, you were in awe that they completed the quest, ran up to them and danced in their face, and then killed them. (Thorn was the weakest exotic on day one) If you saw someone with the vex mythoclast, you either died or died.
