Hmm. Sorry to hear that. Internet folks can be pretty shitty sometimes. Just keep in mind that it's always the people who hide behind their anonymity and are too chicken shit to reveal anything about themselves who always have the most to say about other people. So basically.. their opinion means nothing. Don't let it bother you.
