Start saving those engrams
If you are tired of having the same set of exotic boots over and over? Put those engrams in the vault for the next DLC! That is what a few of us have decided. See u on the next DLC Guardians!

Yeah previous updates engrams only drop the previous DLC's gear...my thoughts are that we will need glimmer in droves both for infusion and possibly the new foundry weapons..with the glimmer cap being the way it is, I think farming the old raids for energies and shards to sell to the speaker could pay off.

2 RepliesExcept everytime a dlc is released they make it so that any engram you recieve before only will give you gear from the previous dlcs to prevent people having every exotic right from the start.

If you have every non-quest exotic and you're comfortable with your light level for the next two months, why not save them? At the very least you'll rank up the cryptarch a few times with what you have saved. ToC would probably be the way to go for saving for the next exotic batch... unless Bungie throws a curve ball and messes with the ToC, which wouldn't surprise me. Either way, plenty of time to save both.

Engrams are time stamped. But you can still save them to level up your cryptarch after the dlc drops.
