A lot of guys they convince themselves that video games are the reason they can't get girls.When a girl comes along it's easier for them to deny that the girl is real than it is to acknowledge their own faults.
Either that or people on the Internet are just assholes.

Wouldn't the logical thing to do be to not respond at all to perceived attention seekers?Negative attention is still attention and won't stop them.

I think it has to do with people who play video games a lot being somewhat socially awkward, and not used to dealing with girls ( •_•)/

Well not even just that, just awkwardness compounded with a need to protect their internet rep(cause their social awkwardness ruins their real life rep). So they get hostile, and touchy

I can see this happening rarely buts its a problem. But 90% of people are fed up with attention seekers so they are gunna hate to voice their opinion. Its a cruel world
