"I have returned, I can't even remember how long I was up that damn mountain"
English

*Mortar walks up, forgetting you a moment then remembering something.* Oh, I remember you
-
Hello mortar. By the way, I think I saw a couple of bandits trying to raid your mountain house. Sure enough, there was, and they were disposed of quickly
-
Oh, that was Wit. You didn't kill him, did you?
-
Shit! Oh well, I can show off a new trick I learnt. *puts fists together, knuckle to knuckle, my eyes glow a brilliant gold, a bright light shines down, it intensifies for a split second, then fades. Wit is standing in front of me.*
-
That's cool. The hell man! What did you do that for, why'd you kill me?
-
Sorry dude. I thought you were a bandit. But on the bright side. You recovered very quickly. Normally people are very dopey after that kind of revival
-
Well, I'd be lying if I said that wasn't the first time I was brought back. *He looks at Mortar.* Guilty
-
Well, if I go up that mountain to meditate, I'll remember your face, so I won't kill you if I see you near mortar's shack/house
-
It's a house, not a shack.
-
-
Yeah. So, you learn anything new?
-
A few things. There is a way of reviving people with darkness. They are fighting fit afterwards, but are contracted to a demon. And removing the contract involves killing the demon. Which is gutwrenchingly painful for the risen
-
Yeah, I wouldn't like to do that, since I'm already part demon
-
Well, I'm not sure if I can pick the contractor, but it would be a good way to keep him alive *points at wit*
-
Me? A demon? God, no. Id rather MORTAR Bring me back, he at least doesn't turn you to a demon. Yeah, that's true, I don't know why I'd want someone to become a demon
-
You don't become a demon, you are kept alive by them. The other downside is they set the price
-
Yeah, I'll stick with Mortar.
-
Fair enough. But discussions aside, there are 2 reasons I came back. 1) to join the dojo 2) to learn more about this * pulls out a 2 inch crystal, it has a metallic luster* This is what appears to be a sample of an ore that forms all through that mountain. And it has some very special properties.
-
May I see that? I looks familiar, but I don't know where. And a lieutenant should be around here somewhere...
-
Well, from what I learnt about on the mountain, this seems to have the ability of amplifying angelic/light powers. For example, stab me in the chest
-
Umm... okay? *Mortar quickly feels around on his back and pulls out an icy blue knife. He stabs you in the chest, and it seems very cold, your body begins freezing up*
-
Okay, now watch this. *I hold the gem near the wound, and cast a healing light on the gem. The gem is enveloped in a blinding light for a few seconds, the light fades. And the wound is closed, with no scar. The freezing effect also disappeared.*
-
Interesting... I could have used that when fighting the Soul of Cinder. OH, I wonder how it would react with Valhite.
-
Well, as far as I know, it only works with light abilities; but that was not why I took interest in the gem. Can anyone summon a very disposable demon or being of darkness?
-
Well I can do this... *Mortar forms two identical shadow figures of himself* And Valhite is a metal found in postmortemlike places, such as an Underworld, a heaven, Valhalla. Guess which one it was found in first?
