I don't hurt the turtles, as if they aren't caught or save by anyone a portal opens below them, reducing their velocity, and places them safely back where they were found, so no I did not hurt the turtles but rather gave them a rather memorable moment that they can look back on.

But... If you go through a portal going 20 miles an hour, you come out the other end at 20 miles an hour... You got to share your portal device with me

Not with the portals I create, as they create a pocket of darkness controlled by a gravity I decide and I just reverse the gravity inside long enough to slow the object, turtles specifically, to a speed below one mile per hour. And no I can't share the portal device as it stems from my manipulation of the light and dark.
