  • Apparently it was possible to ohk with a burning throwing knife headshot. I've never seen it, but if it was possible, the nerf is understandable. I'm sure you can notice the numbers are different, but I doubt there's a huge difference between doing 158 damage & 142 in any playstyle.

  • 16 damage is a huge difference. It can make or break a fight. Not to mention once that knife leaves your hand, it's gone. Why should a headshot with a knife that you have to aim do barely more than an ability melee from any other class? That's just bad design. If anything throwing knife should have remained untouched or buffed

  • Well with burn it still does much more damage. & it has more range than most of the other melees.

  • Well yeah, it's a throwing knife. It requires aiming and enemy movement prediction. Simply slapping someone in melee range takes neither.
