I could see that like infusing the bones of eaos into a pair of legendary legs that doesn't do anything but change the look of the legs to having the bones as if it were the bones of eaos but they are legendary

yeah. But I think Bungie might not do it so that other players know what exotics someone is actually using.

But see if you just transfused an exotic into a legendary it would lose the exotic perk so in total fairness the only exotic they would have on is the one that was in gold background
