Ophélia grasped it, not having the intention of romance. For survival was on her mind.
"I'll follow you..."
Her legs got ready to move. Her sharp hands gripped lightly, trying not to cut Abby.

-
She found that her skin was very, very resilient... strange. Her hand was warm, yet no blood flowed through her body. Very strange... Guiding the wounded Ophélia, they were followed by the swarm of scarabs. They picked up the pace, running a bit faster, until they got to a nicer place of the ship. Well, compared to where they just were. "We should be safe here... relatively."
-
"Okay...I...I'm not even sure how I've gotten here. Thank you so much...." Ophélia leaned her abdomen against the wall, Resting. Clearly amazed and terrified.
-
"Oh? You too? Damn... it seems everyone here has no idea how or why they are here... well then, I suppose I should welcome you to this lovely place... the bloodwrath. Grim name, I know."
-
"Not the grimmest. I'm in your thanks..." Ophélia tries to smile, her grin quickly fading after looking around her. "I'm in the wrong place..."
-
"Most of us are..." She held her own hands. She seemed timid. "So... uh... what's your name..?"
-
"My name is Ophélia...You're own?"
-
She smiles a bit more, albeit still quite timid. "I... uh... Call me Abby." Although her head was down, she looked up slightly. "You have a really pretty name..."
-
"Thank you Abby." Ophélia smiled. Trying to be cheery. She looked around the room. "Is there some kind of...City? Town? Safe haven..?"
-
"Yes! There is. You're right, we'd be better there. Plus, I need to get back to my books..." Abby said, absently. "Follow me." She walked in a direction, making sure Ophélia was following.
-
Ophélia stayed beside her. Her legs clanging around the floor and making silent, yet loud bangs. As if only you could see it. "Books..?"
-
"Yes... I have a little collection. I have all my grimoires, my history books, my science books..." She started listing her different categories.
-
"...I like books." Her eagerness came out.
-
She turns her head towards her, smiling. "Really..? What kinds of books?" It seems that slowly, but surely, her timidity was thawing out.
-
"Any, Really...I write some. Make some. Study some...They're just interesting." Her lips come to a grin, as her hands clenched around where her neck is.
-
"Well... that's really cool!" She says, happy. "Hey... I have a question. B-But it's not rude or anything, I swear! I'm just, really, really intrigued..." She looked at her, her body, her shape. "Well... um... what exactly... are you? Now it's not meant as an insult, I swear! I'm just... curious."
-
"I'm an Arachnid. Don't fret over thinking you were rude." She puts a hand on her pedipalp's thigh.
-
"I've never seen anyone like you before... are there more like you?" She says, calmly now that she had been assured on her intentions.
-
"Never. I've never seen one..." She looks down a bit. Her eyes Seeming to have a little droop, not being happy. But not sad.
-
"Oh..." She notices the change in mood, and silently curses herself for making her new friend sad. "I'm sorry if I made you feel bad..."
-
"That's not, why. I don't blame you." Ophélia grinned towards Abby. "It's just, Weird...Y'know?"
-
"Yeah... I know the feeling..." She smiles back a bit. "Your sweater is really pretty... did you make it yourself?"
-
"I did." She clearly enjoyed the thought, and leaned close. "How far?"
-
"Not too long now." They both reached the General Quarters, which was basically a big city within the ship. As they walked through the streets, people gave them weird looks. Like they were freaks. But Abby didn't mind. Not only had she gotten used to the looks, but the presence of her new friend made her forget everything else. She had so much to show her... Eventually, they reached a large warehouse. "This is where I live, with my sisters. You can stay here too. I-If that's what you want, of course..."
-
"I'll stay...It's, better than the streets. Right?"
-
She giggles a bit. "You're right." She opened the sliding door, which was large enough for Ophélia to enter. Inside, there was stacks of books... it was like a huge library. There was enough material here to keep someone entertained and learned for years, and more. "This is home for me. My sisters live in the other sections, so we shouldn't be disturbed too much. Some nice peace and quiet..."
