"These are older runes much older than what used to. Whoever cast these isnt playing around with us this time. Just like those creatures it summoned" says leyla who can't hide the worry in her voice

*the figure get hits by the wave of energy like its nothing cause he smacks it away like its nothing and chuckles. He counters sending out a wave pure dark magic. It hits some of the grass making it whither and die instantly.* *leyla sees that and she starts to shake in fear.* "You can not stop me demon" its says

*Pure light seems to come from Mortar as it dissipates. He runs up to the man and stabs him hard.* *Garuud watches the fight, ready to assist Mortar*

*the man doesn't flinch when you stab him.he just grabs him by the wrist snapping it. then kicks him hard in the chest. * *leyla watches them fight*

*Mortar barely recoils as he surrounds the figure with floating blades of pure light*

*with a flick of his wrist the man disappears before you can blink then appears behind slicing you with his sword then kicks you in the back*

His eyes are so bright they are almost painful to look at. He holds his arms in the air, and between his hands forms a ball of light so bright it rivals the brightest of stars* LOOK AT THE SUN! LOOK AT IT!!! *Garuud blocks Leyla, Serenity, and Hovark from the light, motioning them to their cave* [i]Come with me if you want to keep your eyesight.[/i]

The inhumanly deep voice says *the man starts bleeding black blood from his ears, nose, eyes as he focuses all his remain power into the spell he is cast turning the area black as everything around him whithers and dies. The mans hair turns white as he continues to focus. He casts spell and it summons meteor storm to come crashing down on where mortars/gore is standing* *leyla, hovark and serenity run towards the cave not looking back*

*Gore's star seems to hold it back, and while he's doing so, he runs up and slams the ball on the man. Radiation and pure heat and light attacks him from all angles, and he feels he cannot move as his strength is being drained away*

*the man lies on the ground not moving very much. A strange dark mass escapes and disappears the mans cause the man to shudder slightly when it leaves his body.* "I will be back" it says before vanishing

*Gore's eyes go crimson again as he gets smaller and turns back to Mortar* That's... unsettling. Leyla... where are they? *Mortar runs to the cave* GUYS! HE IS GONE NOW!

Well he's gone. As for your second question... Well he's gone. That's the part I'm afraid of. Although I think I have something that'll help. *Mortar rummages through his sack and pulls out a crystal, the same type of crystal that was on Gore's arms.* This emits an intense light and heat. It will deep fry those gooey creatures, turn Golems to new members of your sculpture collection, and probably hold off that guy for a longer period than he wants. Just don't look directly at it. *Mortar picks up a fairly strong stick from outside and binds the crystal to the end of it* I guess every mage must have a staff. For you. *He hands it to Leyla*

You guys are my friends, I'd give my life to help my friends' lives. Still, we gotta be ready if he ever comes back, the asshat. I mean, he definitely WILL have to recover, he can't exactly learn a spell to recover from blindness if he's blind... plus we made it very obvious that we can take on his pawns he sends out... Mortar gave Leyla that Crystal, but Mortar and I are working on a way to flat out prevent them from coming to us.[/i] [b][i]Well it better work. "That guy that summoned them didn't seem normal like he was being controlled by something cause when he spoke it didn't sound normal either" says serenity "Im gonna see if my book has any info on them can it has section on different familiars you can summon" says leyla *she grabs her book and sits down flipping through the pages until she gets to the section she looking for.* *she flips through until she finds a page labeled slime familiars. She starts to read up on what they can do and how the best way to kill them.* "Hmm very interesting" says leyla

Then it warns not to touch them cause the swallow anything whole no matter what size. Its has the abilities to lay down pain inducing runes after its stayed in contact with for long than a minute" she says

Alright then... Well, I've encountered other slimes, they have all been really annoying. One fired spikes at me, another made me temporarily blind. And there were slimes in the Underworld that set anything on fire
