Of all the changes they made, the throwing knife nerf was the only one totally incomprehensible to me. I don't use it much so I don't really care, but it is odd. I almost wonder if the nerf was targeted more at people using it during melee bonus weeks in CoE? That's honestly the only context where it feels remotely OP.

That's an interesting thought. However I considered that but came to the conclusion that it was improbable, as nerfs are usually always PvP based. It's more likely a Dev at Bungie who mains a different character *cough warlock cough* was killed by one from an insane distance and just slapped a nerf down.
