I only disagree with one thing, skill at throwing knives? They have a ton of aim assist and basically seek their opponents lol other than that you're pretty much on point.

Exactly what I was gonna say. I don't use gunslinger, but when I do, throwing knives are easy mode. You can literally throw it in someone's direction and it's a headshot

You still have to aim it a bit for consistency. It's not hard once you get used to it, but it takes more skill than a normal melee strike, especially if they are moving around a lot.
-
Axion bolts seek. Firebolts seek. Sticky grenades sort of seek. Throwing knives barely seek.

For me besides getting super kills for the emblem Throwing Knives was the easiest part. Do I think they needed a nerf? No. No I do not.

Lol true

When i played stormcaller i just melee randomly after a shotgun hit, one time a guy jumped over me, i pressed melee and my character spun and killed him. That is aim assist
-
Exactly! Try that with a knife. You won't hit nothing but disappointment.

They just had a pretty big hit box. You still had to aim with them. Which in the middle of a gunfight it was difficult to a degree. I can think of numerous other abilities that are complete easy mode compared to throwing knives.

If you think they have high aim assist then damn man fusion grenades must just auto stick no matter where you throw them...
-
This right here 👍

I don't use fusion grenades so I wouldn't know
