Well, this one sure had a taste for the theatrics. Still, seemed like he could take care of the thing on his own, so I decided to stay where he left me. Hopefully he wouldn't decide to just kill me right after rescuing me, but there wasn't much I could do if he did.

*There was lots of growling, roaring, and yelling. Then eventually a gut wrenching cry can be heard, and it was silent for a moment. He walked back to where you were* Alright, NOW we're good. You can roam a little more freely.

I looked at him for a few more moments, before deciding [i]fück it, we don't have time for this[/i]. "Alright, Mortar, I've got a few more questions: where are we, what was that thing, and how did I get here?"

This is a huge ship called the Bloodwrath. But I'm not exactly sure what that thing was, reminded me of something from Doom, and I don't know how you got here.

I sighed. "Don't even know why I bothered. Look, is there a place I can find some actually [i]sane[/i] people here, or are we the only two things not actively trying to kill everything in sight?"

There are people around here, but... there are many more crazy killing machines that see you as a top sirloin.

*Mortar sighs, then smirks a little, a thought popping into his head* You know I can always leave you to die.

"The hell do you want me to do, then?" I asked, honestly tired of this guy's games. Seriously, what did he expect? Me to just fawn over him like some shinning beacon of hope?

Well, either this guy was insane, or had way better hearing than me. Both were equally likely at this point. Still, nothing bothered us for a good while. The halls were quiet save for our footsteps. Except when they suddenly weren't. Mortar motioned for me to stop, but I had already heard it: more of that blasted chanting.

Ah, shit. Well, this is really annoying. I mean, I will try to avoid it, but if shit goes down I gotta do what I gotta do. *Mortar holds his sword at the ready*
