She smiles.
"Alright... You want to go right now or... Just wait a while.."

-
"I dunno. You got a place in mind?"
-
"I heard there was a good restaurant down in the commons..." She says.
-
"Alright then... let's go."
-
She smiles. "Alright..." She walks over to him and takes his hand.
-

-
sounds good
After they had gotten there and ordered they received their food. "So.... What... Was that book for..." She rests her luck, she was interested.
-
"Which one?"
-
"The one that's bound in human skin." She says as she takes a bite of her steak.
-
"That's the tome of Eternal Darkness. And that's as much as you'll know about it."
-
"Yeah that's all I want to know." She says with a smile. "What about the one with the three eyes."
-
"That's the Guardians' handbook. It's passed on by every generation of us guardians. The thirteen tendrils represent us - the thirteen Guardians of Mantorok the symbol as a whole represents Mantorok himself."
-
She nods. "So you're pretty special... One of the thirteen defenders of Mantorok." She says with a smile.
-
"Guardians. Thirteen Guardians." He chuckles.
-
"Oh well excuse me... All I know is my boyfriend is a very special man." She says with a giggle.
-
"Indeed I am." He smiles, the pendant around his neck still hidden underneath his shirt.
-
It catcher her eye. "So... Whats... The pendant for?"
-
"It's a family heirloom." He pulls it out. It was a silver locket, adorned with red stones. It was ornately crafted, it seemed very, very old. Yet still in pristine condition. It had the carving of a Hydra upon it.
-
"Ah... It's very pretty... Looks old... Very old." She says as she takes another bite.
-
"It is. It's been in my family for ages."
-
"Does it mean anything?" She looks at it with interest.
-
"It's a family pendant."
-
She didn't know what to say... She was just making herself look stupid. "Uh... How was your day?"
-
"It was alright." The waiter finally arrived with his steak, barely cooked.
-
"I uh... I'm sorry, again." She says.
-
"It's alright. Forgiven." He eats his steak in big bites, always making sure to get a mouthful of blood with every bite.
