Help me make a #Offtopic version of Coldplays Viva La Vida

This thread was inspired by user: Cosmo Yawn. Lets all work together to make the song in Offtopic version. Each person take a segment and do your best. I will post the best segments in order. These are the lyrics:
I used to rule the world Seas would rise when I gave the word Now in the morning I sleep alone Sweep the streets I used to own I used to roll the dice Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes Listened as the crowd would sing Now the old king is dead long live the king One minute I held the key Next the walls were closed on me And I discovered that my castles stand Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing Roman cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can't explain Once you'd gone there was never Never an honest word And that was when I ruled the world It was a wicked and wild wind Blew down the doors to let me in Shattered windows and the sound of drums People couldn't believe what I'd become Revolutionaries wait For my head on a silver plate Just a puppet on a lonely string Oh who would ever want to be king? I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing Roman cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can't explain I know St Peter won't call my name Never an honest word But that was when I ruled the world Oh oh oh oh ohh oh [x5] Hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing Roman cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can't explain I know St Peter won't call my name Never an honest word But that was when I ruled the world
Viva La Offtopic(W.I.P)
I used to rule the Flood Threads would rise when I gave the word Now in the morning I browse alone Lurk the groups I used to own I used to roll the memes Make the Ninjas everywhere scream Readin' as the crowd shitposts Now the old users are dead, long live Bungie One minute I held the key Next the forums closed down to me And I realized that my old threads stand On mountains of salt, they got me banned I hear my notifications ringing Lame ringtones are brightly singing Be my alt, shitpost, and shield Desticles comin' from a foreign field For many reasons they can't explain The Ninjas' bans all read my name Hardly ever a worthy post That was the Offtopic I loved the most It was a wicked and wild wind Blew down the doors to let Deej in News of DLC beat like a drum People couldn't believe what Destiny has become Revolutionaries wait For Ktan's head on a silver plate Just a puppet on a lonely string Oh who ever let Activi$ion be king?
For those making new verses- The most important part to make it flow well is make sure each line has the same amount of syllables corresponding to the line in the original song. "I used to rule Bnet" does work because it has the same amount of syllables as "I used to rule the world" Unless, of course, you're saying it differently. I say it as "bee-net". Sing it like you would sing the original song. After you stop trying words that have too many syllables, you'll find it's much easier to make a smooth line. Just some words of advice.
Also note- Grammar isn't as important in a song. If you need to edit out a "the", "are" or something like that to make it flow, go for it. If it makes absolutely no sense however, better think of something else.
