Still don't get wasting time for faction exotics Player A: I did it! I got the dead orbit cloak! Now I have all 3 cloaks! Player B: That's a nice cloak, but can you show me new monarchy? I'm thinking about getting it. Player A: Sure, let me change my faction. *changes to new monarchy, dons cloak* Player B: Oh yea that's nice, but now I think the dead orbit one was better. Can you put that on again? Or show me the fwc cloak? Player A: no I'm stuck wearing this til the next reset Player B: well that sucks, why bother grinding for all 3 then? Your stuck with one all week, and if you change it, you can't switch back. You can't even prove you've grinded all 3, cause you can only use one a week. Player A: *jumps off tower after realizing all them time wasted grinding for faction class items*

1: it's something to do during content droughts (like this summer) 2: as a collector it's nice to have them all 3: those spawn animations are very cool IMO 4: get all 3 on each character and you can then have a faction cloak on, no matter what faction you're working with 5: I'd much rather have all 9 faction items and 200 resources left than not have any faction exotics and just have 1000s of coins and motes (if I have the resources, I might as well use them)

Meh, I've done one for each faction on each character, seems pointless to grind for something I can only use one without waiting a week to change factions. If your that bored, try playing something else for awhile :\ Or you could try to get into some end game stuff, like raids.

I have 0 faction exotics, I don't even know how to get them ; -;

Get to rank 25 in a faction. Get the quest (it's really easy) get an exotic. There's 9 in total. 3 for each class (1 from each faction)
