What you spent is a bit much for me, but it's your hobby, not mine. Only you can determine if something is worth your time and money. A set of my cycling racing wheels costs more than all that. I've only spent about $80 total (bought vanilla destiny with the ps4 - because it was white - for a completely different game, so I don't count that in my total amount ).
