If she was indeed reading his soul, she would also see, probably, I dunno how souls work, that he was actually rather kind and peaceful. Energetic, and even childish at times. He could be very violent, but he didn't kill for fun. Instead, he would always kill with a reason. A viable reason. Nothing like "oh mah gerd, they're not human! KILL KILL KILL!"
"I guess it is kinda rude for me to still be in this thing... Because, well... Always talk face to face if you can.. Coming out now, don't get startled."
There was a loud hiss, and the mech lowered itself a bit as the shoulder pauldrons tilt forwards, and parts of the back, the arms, and the legs fold out.
Then, a soft thud was heard as something hopped out the back, and hit the ground. Then soft footsteps as the pilot walked around the mech to the front.
And with another footstep, the pilot stepped into view. What Kolandra would see was an armoured and tall bundle of muscle, though the head was uncovered.
The man has hazel brown eyes, which were laid slightly further back than normal. He has very sharp, lengthy cheekbones, and a stark jawline. He's in general pretty fücking hot tbh. He has a short stubble on his chin, and along his jaw. He has short brown hair, which was currently cooked to his forehead with sweat - from the sprint to the General Quarters.
"Name's Lucas, by the way. Lucas Fandango."

She wasn't entirely sure how humans met each other when friendly, or rather her memory of such things were just a little fuzzy. Did they even do anything? Did they shake hands, or something like that? Rather than dwelling, Kolandra instead thought it best to give a light bow.
-
Edited by CPU Purple-Heart: 6/23/2016 12:05:20 PM"Pleasure is all mine, dear." The man was amused that the woman bowed instead of shaking hands or waving, but he didn't say anything about it, and instead just bowed back, though his was deeper and a bit more like an... Official one. "May I know your name? It would only be fair.." The man grins.
-
"yes, I suppose it would. My name is Kolandra. Kolandra Dailito of Craftworld Ulthwé"
-
"Kolandra, eh? Now that's a name I haven't heard before. It's pretty. Unique. Yes,, yes. Interesting stuff... Say, Kolandra... Why did you.. Uh... Welcome me the way you did?"
-
"are you referring to the stern confrontation? Or the rather awkward bow, I must admit..." She blushed a bit under her helmet. It truly was quite an awkward thing to do towards an otherwise total stranger. Eldrad probably would've laughed at her juvenility.
-
Edited by CPU Purple-Heart: 6/23/2016 2:21:24 PM"The stern confrontation. It caught me rather... Off guard. And the bow was unexpected, but not that awkward. I just went with it, as you probably noticed." The man grins, his brilliant hazel brown eyes shining with childlike curiousity. "But I'm not gonna question it..."
-
The warlock raised an eyebrow under her helmet and tilted her head to one side in confusion. "well, I didn't really think that 'gesture' needed clarification. You're Human, and I'm Eldar. Our races aren't exaclty good at practising hospitality towards each other. The imperium see us as arrogant and random, while the Craftworlds see you as unnecessarily violent and naïve. I think we can both recount far more times in which both our kinds were at odds rather than evens. I confronted you because that is what I've been taught to do through my elders. They are more wise than me, so I had no reason to oppose"
-
The curiosity in his eyes was very quickly replaced with confusion. "Uhm... Eldar? Dunno what those are. And the Imperium are the military edgelords, right? I'm not exactly from around here... Only aliens I know are Arachnids. Fücking bugs... And I'm not violent or naïve! At least, I don't think I am... Though humanity itself is pretty violent and naïve, I mean, we did have lots and lots of wars with ourselves alone."
-
The tilted head remained. "... How are you not aware of the Eldar? Does the imperium truely keep that much from you? Where are you even from?"
-
"I don't even really know what the Imperium is. I really only know that they're a military force, and apparently the least evil. Though your words make me doubt that... And I'm from a different place..."
-
"what kind of different place? No human that I or any other of my kin have met has ever claimed to be apart from the imperium"
-
"Like... Difference dimension thingy... Yeah... Please don't ship me off to a madhouse; I wouldn't be appreciative of that."
-
"A different dimension... you might have to be more specific". There was doubt in her voice. Or maybe it was suspicion.
-
Edited by CPU Purple-Heart: 6/23/2016 3:58:13 PM"I don't know if my home place has a name... I come from earth though. So... There's that, I guess..." The man shrugs. He really didn't know how to specify.
-
"... you can't possibly hail from Terra and not know of the imperium... what are you not telling me?"
-
"Like I said... Other dimension. Other plain, I guess? I dunno." He shrugs again, being rather casual about it all.
-
"well, I presume that's all I'm going to get out of you for now... and I'm afraid that this place you've arrived at is about as lacking in answers as where you came from"
-
"I didn't come here for answers though. I came here for adventure, the thrill of finding new places, the thrill of potential danger and friends... And, y'know, life back home got boring."
-
Kolandra's head shot straight back up into a vertical position, a sudden burst of energy hitting her mind. "Wait... you came here by choice?"
-
"Yes, I did, actually... Let me guess, dear... You want out of here? Well, I'm very sorry to disappoint you, but I didn't bring my thingy with me, because I kinda wanted a fresh start."
-
"actually I wasn't expecting such an easy way out soo soon. This ship is a behemoth of a deathtrap. But, the fact that you made your way in could mean that a way out is within the realm of possibility... speaking of which, how exactly did you get on board?"
-
"Why would you wanna get out of here? This place seems good enough, why not just stay here? And this place is a ship? Interesting... And I got here via portals, dimension hopping, teleportato."
-
Edited by Moot: 6/23/2016 5:53:31 PM"Ok, I have a few answers for you there. We want to get out of here because this ship, put simply, is most likely the least safe ship for any soulful unfortunate mortal to ever be within. This ship is a ship for demons and the damned alike. Spend too long here and it's likely that we'll all succumb to the chaos that lingers just beyond this behemoth's hull... also, how could you possibly arrive through portals? The Bloodwrath has systems in check to funnel any transmatting invaders into kill chambers. You and I would not be talking right now"
-
The man shrugs... Again. "Well, then... I... Huh. I'm a spooky ghost! BOO!" He does a little ghost thingy with his fingers, chuckling afterwards. "But, seriously now... Demons? And... Souls? Are souls a thing? Well, guess so... But, why's this place bad for those with souls? Do they spend the rest of time in eternal pain and torture?"
-
"most mortals do, yes. I wouldn't know though, Eldar have the privilege of an infinity circuit... but if I die before finding a way off this nightmare come true, my spirit stone may never be retrieved..."
