If she was indeed reading his soul, she would also see, probably, I dunno how souls work, that he was actually rather kind and peaceful. Energetic, and even childish at times. He could be very violent, but he didn't kill for fun. Instead, he would always kill with a reason. A viable reason. Nothing like "oh mah gerd, they're not human! KILL KILL KILL!"
"I guess it is kinda rude for me to still be in this thing... Because, well... Always talk face to face if you can.. Coming out now, don't get startled."
There was a loud hiss, and the mech lowered itself a bit as the shoulder pauldrons tilt forwards, and parts of the back, the arms, and the legs fold out.
Then, a soft thud was heard as something hopped out the back, and hit the ground. Then soft footsteps as the pilot walked around the mech to the front.
And with another footstep, the pilot stepped into view. What Kolandra would see was an armoured and tall bundle of muscle, though the head was uncovered.
The man has hazel brown eyes, which were laid slightly further back than normal. He has very sharp, lengthy cheekbones, and a stark jawline. He's in general pretty fücking hot tbh. He has a short stubble on his chin, and along his jaw. He has short brown hair, which was currently cooked to his forehead with sweat - from the sprint to the General Quarters.
"Name's Lucas, by the way. Lucas Fandango."

"yeah. We might actually stand a chance against the endless legions of Necrons, Tyranids, Orcs, and Chaos if the current races of sentience learned that we all had common enemies"
-
"Exactly! But instead we waste time and resources on fighting wars with each other, which is pretty damn stupid.. Imagine peace amongst the sentient races; that'd be amazing. Not having to live in fear of getting murdered every day..."
-
Edited by Moot: 6/25/2016 10:17:08 AM"as much as I'd like to imagine such a fate, I'm sceptical and doubtful that such an existence will ever come to pass... maybe it'll have to take a common threat far more sever than the ones we face now. Maybe it'll take this ship in order to unite every race capable of allegiance"
-
"I know, I know.. It'll probably never happen, but still. One can dream.. One can hope.. And just maybe this place has something up its sleeve that'll unite the races, like you've said.. More I think about it, the more likely it seems.. I mean, this place has been pretty surprising so far."
-
Ideas began to flow through Kolandra's mind in response to the conversation. She was hit with a barrage of thoughts. "... you... you don't think we're all here to serve some ultimate plan of unity, do you?"
-
That was actually precisely what Lucas had just been thinking, and he looked at Kolandra with surprise. She couldn't read his mind, could she? He just did know. "That is exactly what I was thinking, actually.. I mean, it'd make sense, wouldn't it? We all just arrived here, most having memory loss.."
-
Edited by Moot: 6/25/2016 7:00:12 PM"Agreed... and since you're wondering; yes. I can read minds if I'm concentrating hard enough. One of the perks of being a seer"
-
"Yes.. It's a bit too coincidental.. But uh.. can you stop reading my mind? I might scar you with the stuff I've seen in my life." He says with a chuckle, though his words were true. "Then again, I don't know what has happened to you so far.."
-
Edited by Moot: 6/25/2016 7:45:38 PM"true, true... and don't worry. I haven't come across a single Human so far whose thoughts have been more scarring than the demons currently residing in the walls and clawing at the hull"
-
"Demons?! Well that's just -blam!-ing glorious, ain't it?! Goddammit.. Bugs, cultists, giant evil mechs, and now demons! How fun this place is.. Oh dear.."
-
"anything but fun, I'm afraid... unless you're the type that kills for the sake of killing and nothing else. Then this place is a haven"
-
"If you're reading my thoughts, you probably know that I only kill when I really have no other option. So no, third place is an absolute hell for me. 'Least I met some really cool people."
-
"oh really? And how are these 'cool people' exactly?"
-
Edited by Nibber Schipper: 6/25/2016 8:33:35 PM"Well, one of them is my girlfriend, then you have her family, and Ling, who's a pretty chill guy - even though he's a part of the Imperium. And you, too."
-
"I see... and where are those people right now then?"
-
"Ling is probably having a hangover somewhere, you are here, and my girlfriend and her family are in three warehouses in the General Quarters."
-
"perhaps we should start at the general quarters then, sice that is where the majority of your compatriots seem to be located. Lead the way?"
-
"Hold on, hold on, hold on; what are you planning exactly right now? Because, uh.. I don't know what you're on about."
-
"look, let's just move and try find some more people. We have strength in numbers in a place like this"
-
"Truth. Getting together and staying together would be a very smart choice.. Might be a little tiny bit hard though."
-
Wait. What are they gonna do.

I dunno, clusterfuk?
