Why people think striker is op all of a sudden
I main hunter and people all over the forums are complaining how op strikers are. I find this ironic because strikers are relatively the same since launch. Guardians (especially my fellow hunters) are bitching about how op shoulder charge and FoH, only because they have saltyness left over from the last nerf. So on behalf of all hunters; I apologize if we bitch more often than usual. And we can't help it that something in our brain called the frontal bitch lobe is working over time.

It comes down to majority use. A lot of hunter were being used before patch so people thought it needed a nerf because they kept getting killed by hunters but it makes since since most people were playing as a hunter your probably going to get killed more by hunters. Well after the patch a majority of hunters switched to Titans and now everyone is getting killed by Titans because you have your Titan main players and then you have your hunters that are switching to Titans and then you have your other players that are hyped for RoI so they want to make a Titan. Since Titan is getting the majority of use now people want it nerfed because they are getting killed by them more.

It really isn't op. If you let a striker titan get close to you in the first place, the only thing/person you have to blame is yourself.

3 RepliesA thread was just made where I guy showed a video of how he consistently dominates matches without using weapons. That's become a pretty common way of using them. That's why. You guys are doing it to yourselves.

Some people may think I'm defending the class, but not at all. I do play with a Hunter and a Warlock and I do NOT have any problems killing anyone in particular even if I don't play with those a lot. I'm just saying, there are multiple ways of killing a Titan who's rushing with a Striker because if you can't kill any, well you should definitly think about how you play the game because you're probably not that good. (I'm sorry about my english I am still learning) Please no hate.

They running towards you for either a shoulder charge or fist of havoc have the shotgun out and aim down sight the next thing that happens is all about timing and experience.

Only reason why the complaints haven't been as loud as they are now is because something far more annoying was always around the corner. Thorn, shot package shotguns, pre patch sunbreakers etc. You also have to keep in mind that because of the changes to both night stalker and sun singer strikers arne't pushed back really at all anymore. fire bolt would push any advancing titan back. even if said titan had primed the warlock with a well placed lightning nade. And stalkers straight shut down their mobility. But you can escape that now and freely skate away. In short strikers basically got an indirect buff because nothing directly challenges them anymore. the only thing that truly stops them now is a better player. That doesn't make them OP in anyway though.

1 ReplyWell gunslinger has sort of remained the same since launch. I never saw anyone complain about the tripmines. When those got nerfed suddenly everyone was like yeah the tripmines did deserve that. Why did they decide to touch that now....

1 ReplyStrikes are pretty meh. Only things i can see that tend to be a bit much when it comes to pvp. 1. Lighting grenade (i feel like some people are 50/50 on this, so am i) 2. Shoulder charges capability to literally just run around the map shoulder charging endlessly 3. And i guess that shield thing can be a real problem i've heard.

The worst guns in the game are exclusive to the Titan class.

All the nerfs come from PVP crybabies who bounce from one thing to the next on the bandwagon of bitching and this inevitably ends up getting stuff nerfed that didn't need to be nerfed. P.S I know some nerfs needed to happen the reign of sunbreakers, as much as I miss my insta regen it did need to be changed.
