No it wouldnt. One pulse from lightning nade makes u absolute from full shields. There is enough dmg it deals to dial it back slightly
No it wouldnt. One pulse from lightning nade makes u absolute from full shields. There is enough dmg it deals to dial it back slightly
What about the other classes that have sticky grenades? They curve towards the enemy and if they stick it's a kill.. not leaving them one shot

Edited by Spartan-31: 6/23/2016 4:35:54 PMThere's nothing wrong with shoulder charge. It can be countered by nearly anything: any special weapon, grenades, Wombo combo, supers, warlock solar shields, and most meta weapons. Trip mine can leave you one shot, yet people want it buffed (I have no problem with that except that they also want lightning to be nerfed). Most warlock grenades such as storm grenade, or solar grenade can leave you one shot upon impact. The dreaded skip grenade can out right kill you under the right conditions, and unlike lightning, which is stationary can track you.

Lol. It can be counter3d by grenades which have a cool down but guess what when that same titan revives he is still gonna use it 2 seconds later r while you have to wait for those grenades to charge
-
Edited by Spartan-31: 6/23/2016 7:24:25 PMDid you not read the rest of the post!? A special weapon, or a primary can do the same thing. No wonder why people think it's OP, they don't want to adapt, it's like they want to be killed by it.
-
Yes I did. I am just pointing out some of the bullshit points you made in that post
-
The point was that you have so many ways to counter it, that you shouldn't be complaining.
-
Shoulder charge is broken right now. Nothing you say can change that. If u werent a titan main you prolly would agree the tracking on it is obnoxious. Lightning grenades have longest range of any stationary grenades in the game. Tripmines have always been buggy as hell. Either they do 2 dmg, do no dmg, or dont blow up on time. Ppl want tripmines back to where they were before june nerfs. Same with throwing knives. Trip mines have a giant spinning red light that tells u hey im right here u may not want to walk this way.
-
Hi Hunter main Shoulder charge isn't broken it takes some skill and map knowledge to know how and where to approach your opponents and it's ridiculously easy to shut down with a shotty. Just quit hard scoping and you will be able to see it coming.

I main a lock it's perfect

Edited by Spartan-31: 6/23/2016 5:12:16 PMWas throwing knife one shot head shot broken? It was annoying yes, but not OP. You could hit anyone from any range. I like to think of the throwing knife as a miniature sniper, and shoulder charge as miniature shotgun. The knife, and sniper are supposed to be used at far ranges, a creative mind can use them as they weren't intended, yet no one would think they should be changed (if you die from one you know that person was simply in a better position than you. The shoulder charge requires a bill mechanic like the shotgun rewarding speed, and good strategy with a kill. A person who runs at a large group, or an aware opponent would face a grizzly death. However with stealth intelligence, and a little luck they would be rewarded with a kill (if you die from a shotgun or shoulder charge you know it's your fault because you weren't paying attention, or watching your radar). Was getting stuck by a trip mine OP? No because so many other grenades did the same thing, but did it better. Skip grenade's tracking takes little to no aim, while lightning is glitched were if it hits an uneven brick, it would aim up or down. Plus lightning grenade makes your controller vibrate, it's loud, and flashy. While trip mine is silent.

Edited by stadwick: 6/23/2016 5:17:54 PMThrowing knife was never 1 shot headshot!!! NEVER! Maybe if u were super low armor or were already no shields then ya but its ur fault for running low armor! You are 100% wrong about throwing knives. U miss far more than u hit a headshot. They arent long range, tripmines arent silent!!!! There is a red light that flashes and spins!!! Pay attention where u are going! Never have i died to a tripmine i ran through and called BS, its my fault for not having spatial awarenesss.

Edited by Spartan-31: 6/23/2016 5:26:21 PMJust like it's your fault for letting a striker Titan get too close to you. When you see a Titan coming straight at you, you know it's high time to hull butt. I run medium armor on my Titan the highest armor class in the game might I add, yet pre nerf I was getting headshot killed by throwing knives. I don't have a problem with that. I want Gunslinger buffed to its original status just as much as the next person, but if striker gets nerfed, and Gunslinger gets buffed, the gun will be turned on hunters, and before you know it we would be fighting with plastic knives with rubber tips.

It's not broken now, it never has been. I've mained a warlock for year one and up until recently a titan as well. If shoulder charge didn't one shot, it would have ZERO value, it has a delay after use that leaves you entirely open to counter, it adds no shield or armor and has a multiple second charge up. FoH is a one and done super, every hunter super is roaming, warlocks minus void walker as well and nova bomb is so much more versatile. Shoulder charge is a perk to help offset the lack of ability that FoH provides. If you want that on a cool down then shade step needs to be on a melee use too. I mean, striker is just so middle of the road already, I vastly out perform it on void walker, gunslinger, sunsingers, nigh stalker and don't even get me started on storm caller... I cannot believe how much better storm caller still is than everything else. I play them all, and striker and charge are absolutely not broken if you're being objective!

Strikers are still the fastest class in the game. Twilight, headstrong, and shoulder charge. Its broken because of the tracking it has since april update.
-
I completely disagree, I never had tracking problems prior to April, but you still have to direct it with the thumbscrews, I still miss often if I overshoot someone.
-
The tracking has changed? Proof or just bullshit?
-
Go look at the patch notes for april update. Pretty sure that was melee update
-
Instead if saying pretty sure and whinny post facts.
-
That was a hotfix.. shoulder charge would not connect 75% of the time. We'll at least for me.
-
Shoulder charge isn't considered as a normal melee attack. It's a melee kill but melee changes don't affect shoulder charge at all. Never did.
