"... you can't possibly hail from Terra and not know of the imperium... what are you not telling me?"
English
-
"Like I said... Other dimension. Other plain, I guess? I dunno." He shrugs again, being rather casual about it all.
-
"well, I presume that's all I'm going to get out of you for now... and I'm afraid that this place you've arrived at is about as lacking in answers as where you came from"
-
"I didn't come here for answers though. I came here for adventure, the thrill of finding new places, the thrill of potential danger and friends... And, y'know, life back home got boring."
-
Kolandra's head shot straight back up into a vertical position, a sudden burst of energy hitting her mind. "Wait... you came here by choice?"
-
"Yes, I did, actually... Let me guess, dear... You want out of here? Well, I'm very sorry to disappoint you, but I didn't bring my thingy with me, because I kinda wanted a fresh start."
-
"actually I wasn't expecting such an easy way out soo soon. This ship is a behemoth of a deathtrap. But, the fact that you made your way in could mean that a way out is within the realm of possibility... speaking of which, how exactly did you get on board?"
-
"Why would you wanna get out of here? This place seems good enough, why not just stay here? And this place is a ship? Interesting... And I got here via portals, dimension hopping, teleportato."
-
Edited by Moot: 6/23/2016 5:53:31 PM"Ok, I have a few answers for you there. We want to get out of here because this ship, put simply, is most likely the least safe ship for any soulful unfortunate mortal to ever be within. This ship is a ship for demons and the damned alike. Spend too long here and it's likely that we'll all succumb to the chaos that lingers just beyond this behemoth's hull... also, how could you possibly arrive through portals? The Bloodwrath has systems in check to funnel any transmatting invaders into kill chambers. You and I would not be talking right now"
-
The man shrugs... Again. "Well, then... I... Huh. I'm a spooky ghost! BOO!" He does a little ghost thingy with his fingers, chuckling afterwards. "But, seriously now... Demons? And... Souls? Are souls a thing? Well, guess so... But, why's this place bad for those with souls? Do they spend the rest of time in eternal pain and torture?"
-
"most mortals do, yes. I wouldn't know though, Eldar have the privilege of an infinity circuit... but if I die before finding a way off this nightmare come true, my spirit stone may never be retrieved..."
-
"I'm not gonna wonder about what half of those things are, but... It's still kinda rude how you're still wearing your face mask. Because now we ain't talking face to face. More face to helmet. Which is rude. Yeah."
-
"hmph... so be it" The seer reached up and removed her helmet, the full wraithbone armour piece sliding off the top of her head in one clean move. The removal revealed a slender white face with young features in near perfect proportions; large eyes that almost seemed to spark with their own glow; a petite chin and jaw; slanted thick eyebrows; and long black hair, deep as the void, it's locks flowing down over her cheeks to below her shoulders. A pair of pointed elvish ears emerged through the hair, like knives through shiny black. "Happy now?"
https://imgur.com/2rysYEF
-
"You have elf ears... Legolass, is that you?" FÜCKING REALLY, ME?! I hate you but I love you so much right now. Like that first part oh God... But then bam, a reference?! Fückin' hell man, you're terrible with women! Like, impossibly bad. Goddamn. You should go back to just studying all day long.
-
"No, my name isn't Legolass... what kind of a name is Legolass anyway?" She barked with a Huffing tone.
-
"It's something from back home... But, you're... real pretty, Kolandra..." His armour clicks a couple of times, and plates start shifting out around his neck, soon covering the man's entire head in a helmet. To hide his embarrassment.
-
"Oh, really? Well, thank you..." She briefly flicked a hand up and tucked one side of her hair behind an ear. "... It's, not very usual for someone to say that to me. I'm not really considered attractive yet to the people of Ulthwé"
-
"And the elf ears are cute. Like, really cute.. I just wanna poke the-- that's inappropriate to say to a stranger. Sorry. I tend to get a little rambly... But yes, you look really good if I'm honest. Classy." The face plate of his helmet splits in half, and retreats to the sides of his head, showing his face again; he was blushing lightly.
-
"well, thank you again... um, this is kinda weird, I'm not supposed to be considers pretty yet" The coy embarrassment also began to show on her cheeks. She let her hair down again to at least partially cover that part of her face.
-
"You're not supposed to be considered pretty yet? What does that mean? You seem-- y'know, I'll stop before this gets too awkward." The helmet reforms again, hiding his embarrassment.
-
"well... an Eldar's appeal to others in our society is based less on looks and more on knowledge and wisdom. Of course, looks do play some part though. I'm old by Human standard but still very young for an Eldar, and with that age comes an inherent lack of knowledge and wisdom. Therefore I'm not considered 'old enough' to be pretty yet but the people of Ulthwé. I'm used to that of course; I've grown up around that society... but this it's kinda unexpected to hear someone say that. I suppose looks play a bigger part in relationships for humans then"
-
"Aha.. Mighty interesting.. But personality and looks. And intelligence. And you, currently score on two of those. Maybe even three. You're still a stranger. Stop it, me."
-
Edited by Moot: 6/23/2016 8:57:35 PM"yes, I'm still very much a stranger to you... so if you're flirting, I'd hold up a little bit" Truthfully Kolandra was left at complete odds in this situation. Shed never experienced something like this so directly before, and being trapped onboard a killer ship was already more than enough to get her mind racing with worry.
-
"Not flirting - just innocent compliments; why keep silent when someone looks good? It might make their day if you just tell them they look good." The helmet retracts back again, showing him; he was smiling innocently.
-
"you seem to be gaining a habbit of emerging in and out of your helmet lately..."
-
"Because I like hiding myself when I'm embarrassed, and then I show up again when I'm not embarrassed. Because I'm not a fan of being seen when I'm blushing my ass off."
