Because your super can kill through objects and can kill all the way to the sky box, also -blam!-ing shoulder charge is unbearable, it's the only thing strikers do in inferno if it's not corner camping with a shotgun, oh side note, -blam!- shotguns... Also another side note, I've always felt this is a broken subclass, and fix the trip mine so it -blam!-ing sticks to enemies again, flux nade is horrible and I want to complete my bounty as a gunslinger, totally unreasonable when the all the sticky nades have -blam!-ing homing yet trip mine requires skill to stick... So dumb...
