In counter. It will only kill one person. It has no forward momentum so you have to be right on top of the user. If you're not using transcendence to heal your health (meaning your grenade and melee need to be full) and you landfall into a group I'd say the chances are you're gonna get your landfall kill and then die.
Personally I'm fine with landfall, I haven't had many instances of it being an issue and it's definitely no FoH.

I've seen landfall itself take out multiple enemies before the SC starts roaming. Warlock hugs and jumps around corner and activates. Happens pretty frequently on Pantheon 6v6. I'm not calling it broken, but it is massively powerful and it most closely mirrors FoH (comparing to other supers) hence the reference made by numerous people.

Fair enough, I just can't get on board with the further nerf calls. For a long time I've not had a problem with stormcallers since their changes.

I never called for a nerf and generally speaking, I agree with you. I would bet, however, that if you look at kills per super activation, storm caller blows everything else out of the water. Folks will say the neutral game isn't that great but having decent grenades, blink, high armor and high recovery, I would say otherwise. Ultimately, I don't care. I like that the classes are unique and just want new features. New armor, exotics, alternate subclasses would all be "wins". I don't care about what's meta and what is, or isn't, OP.

Rise of Iron I believe will be good, but it's Destiny 2 that I'm really looking forward to.
