It was quite the camp, with every structure that could be expected from a Space Marine stronghold. Seeing as they couldn't exactly have a battle barge raining support down on them, they had to hold a fortified position. Albeit unlike their usual strategy, it was a strategy they could see through.
Their Chapter Master, Valerius Caluroso, had his own monastery constructed, at the center of the base.

[b]Alexis kisses back, wrapping her arms around him.[/b]

A knock is heard at the door. "It must be the servitor..." He got up, going to the door.

[b]Alexis covers herself with a blanket, trying to stay modest[/b]

The servitor, half man half machine, enters the room on it's treads. "Here... it'll take your measures and will get to making your suit for you."

[b]Alexis nods and stands up[/b]

The machine stands at eye level with her, scanning her whole body. After a minute, it leaves. "... well then, there's that."

"Yup, and now we wait....."
-
"In the meantime, are you hungry? I have food from my personal reserves I think you may enjoy..."
-
"Oh? What do you have in mind?"
-
"Meat, fruits, the like."
-
"I am really craving meat for some reason, and I rarely eat it..."

"Well, you'll have plenty to feast on."

"Alright, so where is it?"

He chuckles. "Hungry, eh? Come on." He walks to the door, walking out of their room. Minutes later and he was in the kitchen, preparing a meal for the two of them.

[b]Alexis waits for him, still nibbling on her tail.[/b]

He cooks for her an extra portion of lamb, noting how the side effects of the change were already affecting her appetite. After some time, he returns to her with their two plates.

[b]Alexis licks her lips and sits up.[/b] "It smells delicious..."

"I'm fairly certain it will be..." He smirks, bringing her plate to her. "Eat up, my sweet..."

[b]Alexis starts to eat her food, barely able to keep herself from devouring it within seconds.[/b]

He raises his brow at her hunger. "Dios mio... you weren't lying when you said you were hungry..."

[b]She nods as she finishes the food.[/b] "I've never been that hungry in my life..."

He chuckles as he eats his food. After swallowing a bite, he says. "You'll get used to it. It was like that for me when I first changed..."

"Alright.... I'd be a nightmare at a buffet..."

He chuckles. "It's nothing to worry about, Dearest. You'll learn to adapt yourself to your new form..."

"Yeah, it isn't that bad anyway. It's just big, really big...."
