I tumbled through, surprised by the shove, somewhat less so than the change in mood. He was probably tired of me screaming my head off.
Standing up, I took a look around, taking in my new surroundings.

Edited by Tamedfrog: 6/25/2016 12:20:59 AMYou stand in a hallway of multiple rooms. You can't really tell what they are, but at least you know you are safe. Xavier tumbles through the Psionic black hole, a little tired. Well actually, he is VERY tired. He tries to stand up, but falls to his knees.
-
"Easy there, buddy, I got ya," I said, throwing his arm over my shoulders. "Where to, hero?"
-
"I'm probably going to have to lay down for a hour or two, so... I need to set me down on the couch in my room." He points to one of the doors as he says that.
-
"So, where are we, anyway?" I asked as I helped him over to door and tried to open it.
-
Xavier pats his pockets for his key or keycard, then gives it to him. "Basically, rooms for people who get introduced into the Bloodwrath."
-
Using the keycard, I opened the door, spotting the couch immediately and making a bee-line for it. I'm not a 90 pound weakling, but I'm still far from what one would call strong. Nonetheless, we made it over with out incident, and I put him down gently on the couch. Then, I took a look around the room.

It's basically every house that is in a typical neighbourhood. There's the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, e.t.c. There's also a room that looks like some sort of armoury or training course, which you don't normally find in a house.

I let loose a low whistle. "Everything you need to survive the apocalypse." I paused. "Or a death ship, as the case may be."
-
"You got any firearms experience?"
-
"Some," I said, absently scratching at my chin. I shook my head. "That's obviously not going to be enough to survive here, though. I'm going to need a lot more than mediocre gun skills."
-
"How about a bunch of gear?"
-
I looked over at Xaiver. "No, I mean actual combat training. Other than how to shoot a gun, my combat skills can very generously be described as rudimentary. Gear will help, yes, but I need to know how to use it - and beyond that, use it effectively."
-
"I don't really know. Experience from travelling to and from locations helped me learn how I could fight."
-
"Well, think you could at least teach me a few tricks?"
-
Xavier sighs. "Okay then, come closer to me, will you?"
-
I walked closer to him, somewhat wary from the statement, but not enough to refuse anything he could give me.
-
"Okay, so... This may sting a little." Xavier suddenly puts two fingers on your forehead, giving you... Something. You find yourself blacking out as he does so.
-
At least it doesn't hurt was my last thought as darkness consumed my vision. I was hardly surprised by him using some weird power or ability, considering his tone. Considering what I had seen- Wait...

Adam stands in a white canvas of a landscape. He stands on a invisible floor, which he sees more blankness below it. A chainsword lies on the ground, waiting for someone to pick it up.
-
I looked around at my surroundings - or lack-thereof - then at the chainsword at my feet. "Huh. Well, that actually explains a few things." I said to nothing. "So, is this some kind of psychic training sim, or are we doing a straight up mind-to-mind skill transfer?"
-
Several anomalies in front of you appear. They seemed to brandish hard-light swords, looking around like they haven't noticed you. You then see a 'Ghost' of you come out of your body, picking up the chainsword, or at least, a ghost of the chainsword. The anomalies notice your ghost, but they are quickly cut down in a storm of blades, your ghost dashing to them and cutting them down one by one, in quick succession. When the anomalies fall to the ground, your ghost turns to you and nods. Your turn. Several anomalies appear in front of you, again.
-
"Hm. Little of a, little of b, eh? Alright, I'm game." With that, I stepped forward, grasping the hilt of the chainsword and lifting it.
-
The chainsword seemed to automatically rev itself, attracting the anomalies to your presence. They get ready for battle.
-
I looked around, waiting for the other shoe to drop. "Wait, are we doing this the old-fashioned, trial-and-error way?"
-
Time stops for a moment. You see what order you have to slice them, and how you could manoeuvre between them.
