[b]Alexis grins and grabs her power armor, slipping into it and testing it out.[/b]

Well... slipping it on was an understatement, but I get what you mean. After the long and hard process of putting on the power armour, she noticed it was a comfort, on point fit, made just for her. It would avoid for the armour to become cumbersome and awkward, instead making it feel like a second skin. Her helmet awaited her, it had the shape unique to the Imperial panthers, that of the head of a feline.

[b]Alexis grabs the helmet and puts it on with some effort.[/b] "Now this is armor, just perfect for me..."

Her HUD activated, linking her to her weapons systems, her communications systems, her vital signs, everything. As of now, she was a fully fledged space marine.

[b]Alexis lets out a cheer of joy, finally she had reached her goal. She walks out of her tent and looks around.[/b]

The base was going on with their day as normal. Today, the Vehicle armoury was making their inventory, which gave way to a little parade in the base.

[b]Alexis watches them, smiling under her helmet as she walks towards the Chapter Master's bedroom.[/b]

The Monastery was empty, he had gone off to his duties, including overseeing the inventory. Their stocks were very good, their equipment all accounted for. Ten Predator Tanks, eight dreadnoughts, four land raiders, ten land speeders, three whirlwind rhinos and three Imperial Knights.

[b]Alexis decides to go help them with the vehicles, having nothing better to do.[/b]

There wasn't much to do with the vehicle... she wasn't a techmarine. Today seemed to be a day off for her, since her schedule had been cleared after her operation.

[b]Alexis ends up wandering the camp, having nothing to do.[/b]

She is eventually called over to the Chapel-barracks for... something.

[b]Alexis walks over, wondering what this was about[/b]

Once she enters, she finds herself pleasantly surprised by a surprise party, organized by Valerius and the members of her tactical squad.

[b]Alexis gasps and smiles under her helmet.[/b] "Awww..... Thank you...."

[i]"Congratulations, Sister. Welcome to the Imperial Panthers."[/i] Her Sargeant says, putting a hand on her shoulder.

[b]She nods and tries to take her helmet off, struggling before it finally comes off.[/b]

Valerius walks to her, putting his hand on her shoulder. He had his helmet on. "Congratulations, Lexie. I'm very proud of you."

"Thank you Valerius...." [b]She softly smiles at him.[/b]

"Now that you are a full fledged marine however, you will need to pick your class. Assault, Tactical or Devastator."

"Hmmmm.... I don't see myself as being on the offensive or carrying a huge gun.... So, Tactical?"

"Well then, it's settled. The balanced type it is."

[b]Alexis nods and smiles at them.[/b] "So what happens next?"

"Well, today is still your day off. Tomorrow, you begin your patrol routine."

There was cake, beverages, it was quite a nice party.
